Prepare your skin, prepare your mind, and prepare for great results.
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning for at least 2 weeks
- Shave the area if needed (no waxing or plucking)
- Drink lots of water, and stay away from alcohol and smoking
- Arrive with clean, lotion-free skin. Ask us about prescription numbing options
- Discuss medications or health questions with the doctor
- We’ll estimate how many sessions you may need and set realistic expectations

DURING YOUR SESSION
Doctor-led care, advanced technology, and a supportive environment.
- The laser pulses target ink while protecting surrounding skin
- All present in the room will be equipped with protective glasses
- You may bring a friend or family member for support but please note, no children are allowed in the laser room
- Sessions are not long, usually just a few minutes depending on size
- You will feel a warm, snapping sensation (similar to a rubber band)
- Cooling and soothing techniques are used to maximize comfort
- We track progress and adjust the treatment plan as needed
- Take as many breaks as needed. Your comfort is our top priority
Our Goal: Safe, effective ink breakdown with minimal discomfort.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
Healing is part of the journey, and we’ll guide you through it.
- Keep the area protected from the sun for at least 72 hours
- No exercise for the first 48 hours, then exercise is encouraged
- Apply ointment as directed
- Drink lots of water for best results
- Expect temporary redness, swelling, soreness, "frosting," and occasionally blistering
- Do not pick or scratch the treated area
- Follow-up sessions are typically spaced at least 8 weeks apart
Our Goal: Proper healing between sessions to achieve the clearest results.
